Description:   Plate with shallow wide-flaring body, vertical rim, tapered lip.
Decoration:   White slip and cream glaze on interior and upper rim exterior. Sgraffito rinceau on floor, above it dark-on-light slip painted rinceau between incised circumference lines. Row of painted dots on interior at base rim and on lip. Similar to C-1936-594 (Morgan 1942, Corinth 11, cat. 601).
Material:   Light red clay with few small subrounded tabular and spherical white inclusions, and few small rounded spherical and angular platy voids.
Munsell Color:   2.5YR 6/6 (light red)
Condition:   Fragment. Single frgt., small part of body and rim.
Period:   Late Byzantine (1059-1210 AD)
