Description:   Juglet with slightly concave bottom, ovoid body with max diam. just below median, conical shoulder; above max diam., start of oval vertical handle and two shallow grooved circumference line. Similar to C-1934-337 (Morgan 1942, Corinth 11, cat. 52)
Decoration:   Dark brown glaze on exterior upper body.
Material:   Coarse dark gray clay with common small to large rounded spherical and tabular white inclusions. Frequent small to large angular platy and tabular, and rounded spherical voids.
Munsell Color:   10 YR 4/1 (dark gray)
Condition:   Fragment. Single frgt., preserving approx. 1/2 body to shoulder.
Period:   Middle Byzantine (802-1058 AD)
