Description:   Plate with vertical ring foot, flat resting and undersurface. Body flares at ca. 20 degrees, curving up to inward thickened rim, triangular in section with vertical lip.
Decoration:   White slip over all. On interior, large medallion with lion leaping to lt.: small head with round eye merging with eyebrow. To left hare running downward. In field, decadent floral spray behind lion, between feet. Surrounded by wide border of hatched lines. Yellow glaze on interior, thin clear glaze on exterior except for undersurface.
Material:   Moderately fine light brown clay with scattered white inclusions, voids.
Munsell Color:   5YR 6/3.5 5YR 5/4
Condition:   Complete profile. Twelve joining frgts., complete profile, 2/3 whole.
