Description:   Cup with small disc foot, body flaring to ca. 45 degrees to offset at ca. H0.014 with small protruding ridge, then turning up more steeply with straight flare.
Decoration:   Green-yellow glaze all over. Interior with gridiron design of broad stripes in light slip. Similar to C-1935-218.
Material:   Pale brown clay with rare small white and gray rounded spherical inclusions, and few small to large angular platy and subrounded spherical voids.
Munsell Color:   10 YR 7/3 (very pale brown)
Condition:   Fragment. Single frgt., preserving complete foot and approx. 1/4 of body profile (below rim).
Period:   Late Byzantine (1059-1210 AD)
Chronology:   Based on context (end 12th century).
