Description:   Bowl with high flaring stem foot, flat undersurface, floor convex in center, start of horizontal body. "Imitation lustre ware" on original inventory book.
Decoration:   Slip on exterior, yellow glaze on interior. Interior with light-on-dark slip painted ring of tangent spirals, and dot in center. Similar to C-1934-694 (Morgan 1942, Corinth 11, cat.749).
Material:   Red clay with few small and medium subrounded spherical and platy white and gray inclusions, and frequent small to large rounded spherical and angular platy voids.
Munsell Color:   5YR 5/6 (yellowish red)
Condition:   Fragment. Two joining frgts., preserving approx. half of foot, and complete floor.
Period:   Late Byzantine (1059-1210 AD)
