Description:   Plate with vertical ring foot, flat resting and undersurface. Shallow, wide-flaring body with slight convex curve, ending in oblique tapered lip with nicks.
Decoration:   White slip over all, thinly washed on exterior. Interior: sgraffito medallion: large interlace on imbricate ground, 3 framing rings. Remainder plain except for splotch of brown paint on body; Clear to pale yellow glaze on interior.
Material:   Fine, well-compacted red clay with scattered coarse voids, white inclusions.
Munsell Color:   2.5YR 5/6 2.5YR 5/8 (fresh break)
Condition:   Complete profile. Eight joining frgts., complete profile, complete foot and floor, 1/4 body to lip; glaze worn on lip.
