Description:   Plate with vertical ring foot, narrow rounded resting surface, rounded undersurface. Shallow wide-flaring body rising at ca. 20 degrees with slight convex profile to squared lip.
Decoration:   Creamy slip over all. Incised on interior: in center, crude lion to rt., with outlined head, 2 short ears, incised neck and body, arching tail. No frame. Surrounded by radiating floral sprays, tips reaching lip, between which boxed pendant triangles. Green glaze on interior and overlapping lip.
Material:   Coarse brown clay with scattered coarse white and fine sparkling inclusions, numerous coarse voids.
Munsell Color:   Between 7.5YR 6/5 and 5YR 6/6
Condition:   Complete profile. Thirteen joining frgts., complete profile; ca. 1/2 foot, 3/4 body to lip.
