Description:   Juglet with flat bottom, wide ovoid body with max diam. Below median, steep shoulder to vertical neck, strap handle starting just above max diam. Similar to C-1937-73
Decoration:   Reddish-brown glaze on exterior upper body, drips on lower body and bottom. Ridge at base of neck and shallow grooved lines above max diam.
Material:   Light red clay with rare small rounded spherical white and gray inclusions, and few small rounded spherical voids
Munsell Color:   2.5YR 6/8 (light red)
Condition:   Fragment. Single frgt., preserving complete body to start of neck, stump of handle.
Period:   Middle Byzantine (802-1058 AD)
