Description:   Plate with low flaring foot, curved undersurface.
Decoration:   Green-yellow glaze, interior of foot reserved. Impressed central medallion with bird figure. Similar to C-1936-938 (Morgan 1942, Corinth 11, cat. 103).
Material:   Pale brown clay, fired pink, burned in some areas, with frequent small and medium rounded spherical and subrounded tabular gray, red and white inclusions. Rare small angular platy voids.
Munsell Color:   10YR 8/3 (very pale brown)
Condition:   Fragment. Single frgt., preserving approx. 1/4 of foot, and 2/3 of floor.
Period:   Late Byzantine (1059-1210 AD)
