Description:   Askos with flaring ring foot, flat broad resting surface, rounded undersurface. Deep globular body, pressed into oval section at shoulder height, medium-wide neck rising from one end, heavy biconical rim. Horizontal strap handle with ridges down back, set vertically on top of shoulder, abutting base of neck and under rim.
Decoration:   Single circumference groove on body above median.
Material:   Clay fired pale buff at surface, red below surface, with frequent tiny white, black inclusions, some voids.
Munsell Color:   Surface: 2.5Y 8/2 ; Core: near 2.5YR 6/5
Condition:   Complete profile. Numerous joining frgts., complete profile; 9/10 foot, most of body except for ca. 1/4 lower body, 1/4 shoulder; complete neck, rim, handle. RIP.
