Description:   Cup with low flaring ring foot, flat resting and raised undersurface. Body flares at ca. 25 degree angle to max. diam. at H00.035, curving in to straight flaring rim, rounded oblique lip. Horizontal loop handle at max. diam.
Decoration:   Foot, undersurface reserved, foot exterior black glazed. 3 glaze bends on lower body, rest reserved. On body: Side A: 2 confronting avians with heads turned back, incised tail on lt. bird, rt. missing back end, blob rosette between chests. Side B: Back half of abian to lt. Incision and purple on wings and tail. Line above at base rim, Handle glazed. Interior glazed with reserved stripe below lip, center floor with central ring. Glaze largely misfired to faint purplish.
