Description:   Cup with flaring ring foot, concave undersurface with nipple. Flaring body, offset from tall flaring rim with convex band at base of rim, rounded lip. Two vertical handles, rim to body, oval in section.
Decoration:   Reddish brown slip on rim to just below raised band, then incised with thick irregular, vertical gouges, from band to ca. 0.01 m. below lip. Exterior glazed. Interior and bottom of base plain. Interior, central medallion very faintly impressed.
Material:   Fine, hard-fired clay. Lustrous transparent glaze, reddish-brown paint.
Munsell Color:   10YR 7/1-7/2 (light grey)
Condition:   Complete profile. Mended from many fragments, complete profile. 1/4 foot, whole body, one handle. R.I.P.
