Description:   Bowl with low flaring ring foot, rounded resting surface. Echinoid body rising at 30+ degrees, tapered vertical lip.
Decoration:   White slip over all. Sgraffito dec. on interior:edge of medallion with imbricate ground, narrow band of beading, wider band of decadent rinceau broken by medalliion with 5-petal palmette, band of debased Kufic on mid body. Clear to pale yellow glaze on interior.
Material:   Fine pinkish-buff clay with scattered voids.
Munsell Color:   5YR 6/6
Condition:   Complete profile. Two joining frgts., complete profile except for center floor; blackened along one break; part of glaze, slip peeled away.
