Description:   Bowl with flaring foot, protruding ridge at top of foot. On original inventory book, "A4".
Decoration:   Green and yellow glaze on interior, with brown streak, and patch of green glaze on exterior foot. Illegible depression in center (impressed design?). Similar to C-1936-1165 (Morgan 1942, Corinth 11, cat. 68).
Material:   Pink clay, fired white at surface, with few small to large subrounded tabular and spherical red and gray inclusions. Frequent small and medium angular platy and subounded spherical voids.
Munsell Color:   2.5 YR 8/4 (pink)
Condition:   Fragment. Three joining frgts., preserving approx. 1/4 of foot, and nearly complete floor.
Period:   Middle Byzantine (802-1058 AD)
