Description:   Bowl with vertical false-ring foot, with undersurface trimmed back slightly to create broad flat resting surface. Deep convex body, rising unevenly to nearly vertical tapered round lip, offset by groove oninterior. Foot unevenly pared, turning ridges on exterior.
Decoration:   Light slip on interior and over upper fifth of exterior. Incised on interior, bird directed rt. with long neck decorated with horizontal rings and vertical fringing in two groups, thin body, long thin raised wing with single dividing line; 3 incised rings circling medallion; 3 more rings below lip. Swirls of yellow-brown glaze on floor, vertical streaks pendant from lip; stripe on lip.
Material:   Moderately fine tan clay with scattered fine white inclusions, frequent voids.
Munsell Color:   5YR 6/6
Condition:   Complete profile. Two joining frgts., complete profile; complete foot, 1/4 lower half body, 1/8 upper half with rim.
