Description:   Plate with low torus ring foot, flat resting surface and undersurface. Straight flaring body, rising at 30 degrees to ca. H00.040, tall rim H00.044, nearly vertical, with tapered lip.
Decoration:   White slip over all. Incised on floor: hastily drawn small bird to rt. with scaley breast and wing, summary legs. Surrounded by ring of double chevrons, outer border of rinceau. Clear to pale yellow glaze incised and over lip.
Material:   Moderately fine light brown clay with moderate amount of lime inclusions, voids.
