Description:   Plate with low base ring, interior of base ring articulated from slightly raised flat undersurface. Body extends nearly horizontally then turns up with convex profile to nearly vertical round lip.
Decoration:   White slip over all. On interior, incised-sgraffito dec.: central medallion of split-palmette, surrounded by band of incised and sgraffito Kufic, narrow band of beads; band of degenerate rinceau broken by medallions with split-palmette; at outer edge of floor, second broader band of rinceau between double lines. Clear to pale yellow glaze on interior and overlapping upper half of exterior.
Material:   Moderately fine tan clay with frequent voids, rare white, red inclusions.

Condition:   Complete profile. Four joining frgts., complete profile; nearly half foot, floor, 1/8 rim.
