Description:   Plate with low slightly flared foot, wide body, slightly convex walls, flaring rim, flaring squared lip.Similar to C-1936-706.
Decoration:   Exterior: white slip with traces of green glaze. Interior: White slip with pale yellow glaze, incised design depicting male figure in draped robes, dark brown spots are painted on male figure. Brown stripes painted on rim.
Material:   Coarse orange clay with rare fine brown and white inclusions and rare fine voids.
Munsell Color:   7.5 YR 7/6 (reddish yellow)
Condition:   Missing parts. Four joining frgts., preserving 3/4 foot and part of body.
Period:   Late Byzantine (1059-1210 AD)
