Description:   Bowl with flaring foot, grooved at top, thick biscuit. Similar to C-1937-144 (Morgan 1942, Corinth 11, cat. 147).
Decoration:   White slip. Pale yellow-green glaze on interior. Impressed central medallion of four concentric circles crossed by eight radiating bars.
Material:   Reddish clay with common medium to very large rounded and subrounded spherical and tabular red, white and gray inclusions. Few angular and subrounded platy voids.
Munsell Color:   7.5 YR 6/6 (reddish yellow)
Condition:   Fragment. Single frgt., preserving approx. 2/3 of foot, and floor.
Period:   Late Byzantine (1059-1210 AD)
Chronology:   12th-13th century; based on comparanda.
