Description:   Bowl with low vertical ring foot with beveled resting surface, flat undersurface. Deep straight flaring body rising at ca. 45 degrees in lower half, then turning up more vertically with rounded profile to oblique rounded lip.
Decoration:   White slip over all. Interior: tail and belly of bird standing on floral spray than forms a circle around the floor. Below lip band of degenerate Kufic between double lines. Pale yellow to clear glaze on interior and over lip.
Writing:   graffito. ? Possible edges of graffito on undersurface.
Material:   Fine tan clay with frequent fine to coarse red, gray inclusions.
Munsell Color:   Slightly pinker than 10YR 7/4
Condition:   Complete profile. Nine joining frgts., complete profile, except for center floor. 4/5 foot, over half body to lip.
