Description:   Plate with vertical ring foot, rounded resting surface. Shallow straight flaring body, rising at ca. 20 degrees, turning up slightly to oblique outturned rim with round lip.
Decoration:   White slip on interior. Incised decoration: edge of central medallion with hatched lines; outer band on floor with coarse incised wavy lines with arcs in angles; on rim, similar band. Clear to yellow glaze on interior and over rim.
Material:   Tan clay with frequent tiny voids, red mudstone inclusions, possibly white inclusions (smeared with plaster)
Munsell Color:   Near 10YR 7/4
Condition:   Complete profile. Two joining frgts., complete profile except for floor; joined in plaster with C-1938-048C.
