Description: | Deep hemispherical bowl with flat medallion. Slight inturn of body before rim, and outturned rim. Crudely potted with bubbles, a high nipple in the interior, and heavy wheel marks. | |
Decoration: | Mold made decoration stamped heavily but from a very worn mold. On the medallion, eight petalled rosette; on the calyx, small palmette; on the wall, alternating figures, perhaps Amymone and Dionysos with a thyrsis (?); on the rim, simple guilloche between two sets of double raised bands. | |
