Description:   Articulated kantharos with biconical body. Angular carination set at approx. two-thirds the height of the body. Lower walls convex. Upper walls are slightly concave, inclined. Tapered lip outturned. Two vertical strap spur handles with rectangular strap thumbrests attaching just below lip and at mid upper body.
Decoration:   Black glaze over all. One scraped groove at top of handle zone. One groove just below lip. Side A: necklace with scraped groove necklace and ties and pendants in added paint.
Material:   Fine pink clay with few small black inclusions, rare large red inclusions and rare voids.
Munsell Color:   7.5YR 8/3pink
Condition:   Fragment. Eight joining frgts., preserving half of body, half of lip, and one handle thumbrest. Surface has black glaze mostly worn. Negative imprint of necklace pendants and ties in added paint. RIP.
