Description:   Cyma kantharos with stem foot, flat resting surface and conical undersurface, with molded exterior in two degrees; lhigh, narrow and almost vertical lower with tapered edge, articulated from high, wide upper step by an angle. Conical stem connected to foot by curve. Medium-wide body with convex lower and upper slightly concave high in body near small, everted tapered lip. Two vertical strap handles with rectangular thumb rest attaching to just below lip and upper body.
Decoration:   West Slope style with two sets of horizontal grooved bands, one at lower, and another a step below upper handle attachment level. Black glaze preserved in parts. Added white paint fugitive and only the black underneath is preserved; necklace on both face discolored black between bands.
Material:   Fine pink clay with rare small to medium spherical sub-rounded mudstone, rare fine black inclusions. Rare fine voids.

Condition:   Complete profile. Numerous joining frgts., preserving foot except for a chip, stem, most of body and lip, both handles. Black glaze preserved in parts.
