Description:   Cyma kantharos with stem foot, flat resting surface and concave undersurface, with moulded exterior in two degrees; wide lower with straight sloping side ending in beveled edge, high upper medium thin ridge with square profile articulated from lower by angle. High conical stem connected to foot by curve. Wide body with very convex lower and concave upper, flaring out widely to everted tapered lip. Vertical handle with rectangular thumb rest attaching to just below lip and upper body.
Decoration:   West Slope style with two horizontal grooved bands near upper handle attachment level. Inscribed egg pattern between bands. Black glaze all over.
Material:   Fine reddish yellow clay with rare fine black and sparkling, rare, at least one, medium spherical angular white inclusions.
Munsell Color:   5YR 7/6 (reddish yellow)
Condition:   Complete profile. Numerous joining frgts., preserving most of foot, stem, 1/2 body, most of lip, 3/4 of one handle. Black glaze well preserved
