Description:   Figural lug of large brazier. Imported. On exterior, vertical body rounds off into flat, horizontal rim, which rounds off again and continues vertically as back of figural lug. On interior, figure sits inside frame, which sits inside extra border. Right side of boarder gently slopes and flattens out towards bottom as it continues into rim.
Decoration:   Relief design of bearded head. Beard defined by four deep grooves that extend downward from lower lip. Beard slopes out from face. Figure wears conical cap with traces of hair falling onto forehead. Head sits in square frame made of two deep grooves on left, top, right, and slightly on bottom.
Material:   Coarse red clay with small white and sparkling inclusions, gray exterior.
Munsell Color:   Near 2.5YR 6/6 (light red)
Condition:   Fragment. Single frgt., preserving exterior rim and figural interior lug of brazier, broken at top, left side, and bottom.
