Description:   Column krater with convex body turning into nearly horizontal shoulder.
Decoration:   Parts of two friezes in black glaze fired partly red where thinner. Red line at base of neck, below, fr. A: parts of 3 padded dancers: lt. to rt., extended hand of one, head, torso, buttocks of second with rt. arm bent down and back, in profile to lt.; bearded, hair gathered in mass at back of neck; purple on garment; of third lower legs, facing rt., legs together. Purple ground line, no filling ornament. Below, fr. B: part of a goat's (?) back. Red glaze on interior.
Material:   Fine pinkish-buff clay with few fine oblong voids.
Munsell Color:   Slightly lighter than 5YR 7/6
Condition:   Fragment. Six joining body frgts., broken all around, preserving part of body and shoulder.
