Description:   Pyxis with rounded shoulder, with sharp articulation to inset rim with concave tapering profile, vertical rounded lip.
Decoration:   Exterior: in dilute brown-black glazed: circumference lines on upper body, 3 preserved, reserved band at top of shoulder decorated with chain of S's, 2 circumference lines at base of rim, 1 at mid height, 1 on lip. Interior: completely glazed except for fine reserved line on interior of lip.
Material:   Fine well-compacted buff clay with rare fine black inclusions.
Munsell Color:   Very slightly pinker than 10YR 7/4
Condition:   Fragment. Single frgt., shoulder to rim, small part of circumference.
