Description:   Miniature jug with a squat, flat, string-cut base, globular body and everted rim; single vertical, oval handle attached to shoulder and rim.
See C-61-146 (Hesperia 34.1 (1965) p. 15, pl. 4 b), a very similar version with no black glaze, and C-61-32, a slightly larger version with black glaze from shoulder up
Decoration:   Black (2.5Y 2.5/1) glaze around inside of rime and dripped on one side of the outside (continues partly onto handle); on the front, the glaze continues most of the way down the body in a sort of painted pendant loop, in the center of which is a small vertical lozenge-shaped dot at the height of the shoulder.
Material:   Fine pale yellow clay with rare medium black inclusions; rare traces of silver mica
Munsell Color:   2.5Y 8/3 (pale yellow)
Condition:   Complete or intact. Some of black glaze rubbed away, but otherwise pristine
