Description:   Corinthian moldmade cylindrical bowl with straight vertical wall and square outward thickened rim.
Decoration:   Mottled matte orange glaze (2.5YR 6/8-5/6) on inteterior and exterior. Round molding at base of wall. Flat moulding under rim with rounded ridges above and below. Relief decoration: horizontally curving branch with leaves; nude male figure to right with raised right arm, holding club above head, and left leg; leg of figure to the right facing left. Mold is worn.
Material:   Fine orange fabric with few small rounded voids and few small elongated voids.
Munsell Color:   7.5YR 7/6 (reddish yellow) to 2.5YR 7/6 (light red)
Condition:   Fragment. Two joining frgts., preserving less than 1/4 rim. Slip worn in places.
Period:   3rd c. A.C.
Chronology:   first half 3rd c. CE, based on Corinth 18.2
