Decoration: | Fragments from small bell krater, preserving one tiny area of outturned rim. Streaky black-brown glaze inside. Exterior shows myrtle leaf chain running right on exterior of rim. Figure zone shows left, woman facing right, hair in a topknot, holding in front of her a large flat-topped object, a chest of some sort. In front of her, also facing right, a male, nude, traveling hat behind his head (the strap is the diagonal band on his chest), and a cloak passing behind his lower back, caught over both arms. There is the beginning of a third figure (or object) at the right break. | |
