Description:   Transport amphora with pointed solid conical toe, tall nearly cylindrical body widening somewhat to max. diam. below handles, body curving into high rounded shoulder, wide conical neck tapering to outward thickened rim, which tapers to round lip. Two vertical handles, oval in section, attached to edge of shoulder, rising vertically and bending down somewhat to upper neck. Turning marks on neck.
Decoration:   Faint wheel-ridging (or coil marks ?) on lower half of body.
Material:   Semi-fine clay fired buff to light red with abundant very fine rounded white inclusions, fewer tiny black ones, rare fine red rounded inclusions, few voids.
Munsell Color:   5YR 6/6 to near 10YR 8/3
Condition:   Complete profile. Numerous joining frgts., complete profile; missing 1/3 body to start of shoulder. Iron adhering to exterior.
