Decoration: | Four rows of rouletting around interior tondo featuring longer rouletting lines alternating with shorter ones; at least four more rows of rouletting slighly up the interior side, also with alternating long and short lines; between these groups of rouletting, stamp with four double volutes (two pairs of opposed volutes in two rows) with a small circle in the center. Motif similar to Hayes LRC no. 17 (Late Roman Pottery, p. 352-353 no. 17, fig. 73). | |
Material: | Fine light red clay with rare very small angular tabular pink inclusions and very rare small sparkling inclusions and no voids. | |
