Description:   Saucepan with round bottom, middle slightly off-center; echinoid body tapering in to vertical tapered lip; horizontal thickened strap handle of triangular shape attached just below lip. Similar to Corinth VII.3, p. 128, no. 686, pl. 30 (C-34-2489 a, b)
Material:   Coarse red clay fired dark reddish gray at core with rare, small-large spherical sub-rounded black, frequent spherical to tabular sub-rounded white lime and white stone, rare fine sparkling inclusions. Rare fine voids.
Munsell Color:   Surface: 2.5YR 5/6 (red), Core: 2.5YR 4/1 (dark reddish gray)
Condition:   Complete profile. Several joining frgts. preserve 3/4 bottom, 3/4 body, nearly all of lip, one handle. Traces of blackening from cooking on the exterior.
