Description:   Cooking fabric flanged casserole (Casserole II by Edwards) with flat bottom, squat echinoid body; flaring rim with tapered veritcal lip; interior flange for lid near bottom of rim; round horizontal loop handle with nearly horizontal top attached at upper body, attached on sides of rim, projects only a small amount above rim.
Decoration:   Burnished exterior, burnished concentric rings on bottom.
Material:   Coarse yellowish red clay with frequent fine to medium spherical to tabular rounded to sub-rounded black, fine to small tabular angular reddish brown, common fine tabular gold and silver mica inclusions.
Munsell Color:   5YR 5/6 (yellowish red)
Condition:   Complete profile. Four joining fragments preserving 1/3 bottom, 1/3 body, 1/3 rim, one handle.
