Description:   Kantharos with flaring ring foot, domed undersurface with incised spiral in center, rounded resting surface, ovoid body, flaring rim, tapered lip, vertical strap handles attached on lip and below maximum diameter on body. Similar to W 30 (Corinth VII.i no. 44).
Decoration:   Solidly black glazed interior and exterior, reserved undersurface and resting surface of foot, reserved band on interior rim, reserved handles decorated with painted horizontal bands. Similar to W 30 (Corinth VII.i no. 44).
Material:   Fine greenish buff clay with rare fine black inclusions, rare large lime inclusions, and rare voids.
Munsell Color:   2.5Y 8/2 (white)
Condition:   Complete or intact. Complete, except for small chip missing from rim; one handle mended from two joining frgts., missing part of lower attachment. Glaze fugitive.
