Description:   Blisterware aryballos with flat base, low ovoid body continues to narrow neck tapering upwards, flaring rim with rounded lip; oval handle attached at juncture of body and shoulder and at rim. Four rows of round bumps concentrically around body from base to shoulder. Similar in surface finish to C-47-297 (Corinth VII.3, p. 148, no. 774, pl. 64), similar in profile to C-65-537 (Corinth XVIII.1, p. 94, no. 97, pl. 13, p. 54, fig. 17).
Decoration:   Gray-black glaze all over exterior and also on interior of neck. Double-dipping line visible.
Material:   Coarse dark gray clay with dark brown core with common large to very large lime, few large to very large grog, and few medium black inclusions.
Munsell Color:   Surface:7.5YR 4/1 (dark grey), Core: 7.5YR 4/4 (dark brown)
Condition:   Complete profile. Mended from several frgts., preserving all of base except for one small piece, almost all of body except for four small pieces, neck except for one small piece, one third of rim; handle missing except for lower attachment.
