Description: | Skyphos with low flaring ring foot, slightly convex undersurface, round resting surface, ovoid body, flaring rim with rounded lip, canted loop handles. Similar to W 15 (Corinth VII.1, p. 14, no. 42, pl. 7) and C 1930 87 (Corinth VII.1, p. 19, no. 68, pl. 11). | |
Decoration: | Black glazed over all interior and exterior. Resting surface and undersurface of foot reserved, reserved band around exterior rim and interior rim. Underside of handles reserved, reserved band on body immediately underneath handles. Similar to W 15 (Corinth VII.1, p. 14, no. 42, pl. 7) and C 1930 87 (Corinth VII.1, p. 19, no. 68, pl. 11). | |
Material: | Fine reddish yellow clay with rare medium black and red rounded, rare medium angular white inclusions and rare medium angular voids. | |

Condition: | Complete or intact. Six joining fragments preserve the entire vessel except for small chips missing from body. Glaze is well preserved on exterior and interior, crackled and warn off on half of one handle. | |
