Description: | Amphora with a round bottom with a circular groove at the center of base. Ovoid body with maximum diameter at shoulder. Shoulder tapers sharply to a round narrow neck with a squared outturned lip. Two oval vertical handles attached at shoulder and below rim. Neck warped during firing so that it is off center; rim badly misshapen and vitrified in the kiln. Similar to C 77-233. | |
