Description:   Amphora with steeply sloping shoulder to cylindrical neck.
Writing:   dipinto. Letters in red paint on shoulder, KUX. The initial K may be ligatured with E, and the U may be V. Cf. C 1981 5 (Slane and Sanders 2005, p. 262, no. 2-17), C 1982 142.
Material:   Coarse very pale brown clay, fired light red on interior, with frequent medium to v. large white and red, and frequent medium gold micaceous inclusions.
Munsell Color:   Surface: 10YR 7/4 (very pale brown), Interior: 2.5YR 6/6 (light red)
Condition:   Fragment. Three joining frgts preserve small part of body. Dipinto moderately preserved.
