Description:   Semiglobular cup with disk foot with upturned edge, hemispherical body with rounded lip, vertical round handle attached below lip and below median of body, with groove down one side, ridged down the middle.
Decoration:   Self-slipped and burnished overall exterior, three incised grooves below lip, interior unslipped. Cf. C-1936-484.
Material:   Semi-coarse very pale brown clay, fired light red at core, with frequent large to very large white lime, and freqent medium to very large mudstone (?) inclusions and voids.
Munsell Color:   Surface: 10YR 8/4 (very pale brown), Core: 2.5 YR 6/6 (light red)
Condition:   Complete profile. Six joining frgts., preserving all base, 2/3 body, 2/3 rim, complete handle. String marks on base. White lime accretions on surface.
