Description:   Mortar or basin with heavy downturned rim, with wheel-ridging on underside, rounded lip, incised line on joining inner edge of rim and body. Cf. C-37-1209, C-62-31, C-2003-4, C-2004-12.
Writing:   stamp. Rectangular stamp with double border set vertically across rim; Latin, line of block letters: ..]MRESTI. Traces of one or two hastae to left of M. Unclear if one or more lines.
Material:   Coarse very pale brown clay, fired pink at core, with frequent, large, gold and silver mica platelets, large to very large mudstone (up to 0.006), fine platy black inclusions.
Munsell Color:   Core: 5YR 8/4 (pink), Surface: 10YR 8/3 (very pale brown)
Condition:   Fragment. Single frgmt preserving small part of rim, broken through inscribed stamp.
