Description:   Cooking pot with horizontal lip, flaring rim, globular body, flat bottom, and vertical strap handle attached to lip. Slight burnishing on exterior. Pieces of blue pigment adhered to interior. Similar to C-1971-88. 2017/02/27: Andrew Ward tested blue pigment tested with X-ray fluorescence (XRF), appears to be Egyptian blue.
Material:   Coarse red to weak red clay with few medium white spherical angular inclusions.
Munsell Color:   Fabric: 10R 5/6 (red) to 2.5YR 4/2 (weak red)
Condition:   Complete profile. Approx. 40 joining frgts., mended together, and 3 unmended frgts., with blue pigment, preserving approx. 90% of vessel, 2/3 of rim.
