Description:   Vessel with leg swelling out at top, with flat resting surface. Similar to C-1937-1218 in shape and decoration; cf. Phelps 2004, pp. 86-87 for discussion of shape and its function.
Decoration:   Single band of chevron incisions along wide top of leg, with possible white paint inside. Similarly located incision on C-1937-134.
Material:   Coarse reddish yellow clay with common fine black rounded spherical, few medium white angular spherical, rare large gray angular tabular, rare large black angular spherical inclusions.
Munsell Color:   5YR 7/6 (reddish yellow)
Condition:   Fragment. Single frgt., preserving one leg and part of interior of vessel. Granular break at top. Possible traces of white paint inside. Much of surface tinged gray or darker brown.
