Description: | Bowl consists of a base that is slightly angled and tapers to the beginnings of the foot (not preserved). Body is vertical. Moulding above base and below rim. Rim is squared. Interior curves slightly to base. | |
Decoration: | Slightly metallic orange-red glaze. Moulding above base consists of two grooves. Moulding below rim is of one groove and one horizontal line of ribbed decoration. Three scenes represented, separated by trees: on left, lower legs of figure and table. In center, bearded figure with draped garment stands before an altar or pedastal with macrophallic statue (Priapus?). On right, female figure with garment reaching up towards a tree or vine.
