Description: | Rounded alabastron. Ovoid body to flat base. Low neck with high outturned rim. Three horizontal round handles on shoulder. FS 83 | |
Decoration: | Exterior is slipped and painted. Lustrous buff slip only on exterior; handles, neck and rum and decoration in lustrous brown-black which crackles. Wavy band with parallel lines below it around bottom, similar to rock pattern (FM 33). Large ivy leaf with a wavy stem (FM 12) between handles, to the left of ivy are two circular clusters of dots. Thick band on neck, rim painted on interior and exterior. Handles painted solid. | |
