Description:   Kylix. The large foot is slightly hollowed underneath and has a shallow hemispherical sinking under the stem. The edge of the foot is squared. The stem is tall and has a slight central bulge. The preserved portion of the bowl shows that it was conical and fairly deep.
Decoration:   Wet-smoothed and slightly lustrous surface. The interior is monochrome, expcet that at the center a small circle of paint has been entirely worn away. At the base of the bowl is a thin band, and below at the top of the stem are two broader bands, from the lower of which springs a spiralling band which has encircled the stem 5 times by the time it runs into the broad band at the base of the stem. There are 4 thin bands on the foot. In the zone is part of a spiral with rough zigzag between the two outer convolutions and 2 thin lines between the neighboring pair of convolutions.
Material:   Fine clay with some very small pieces of fine grit, most of which have burnt out leaving small holes in the surface.

Condition:   Fragment. Single large fragment, ca. 80% of foot, all of stem, ca 10% of bowl, and none of rim or handles preserved
