Description:   Deep bowl, FS 284. Rim flares, profile below has distinct S-curve.
Decoration:   Wet-smoothed surface. Paint and surface are slightly lustrous. Rim painted, band below rim in, 2 bands preserved below zone out. In zone, disintegrated tricureved arch (4) with trefoil rockwork fill.
Material:   fine clay
Munsell Color:   fracture: 5 YR 7/4 (pink); surface: 5 YR 7/5 (pink/reddish yellow); Paint: 2.5 YR 5/8 (red)
Condition:   Fragment. 4 non-joining body sherds and a non-joining rim. Profile to bands below zone can be restored on paper. Very small percentage of total vase preserved. One boy fragment has been burned.
