Description:   Cylindrical body sherd of a bell krater with the start of handle at left break.
Decoration:   Exterior with red-figure: torso, buttocks, and lower arms of a man wearing himation draped from left shoulder, facing right, holding stick or stalk over shoulder with left hand and curved staff in right hand; at right, railing of chariot; dilute glaze for interior details. Preliminary sketch lines visible; contour lines in relief around figure and handle juncture. High quality black glaze interior.
Material:   Fine, light red clay with few medium sub-rounded tabular white inclusions
Munsell Color:   2.5YR 6/6 (light red)
Condition:   Fragment. Single body sherd of a column krater, broken on all sides, with high gloss black glaze on interior and red-figure on exterior; some scratches and chips on exterior, chips along edges on interior.
