Description:   Lateral sima with bottom fascia tilted back slightly from vertical, deeply inset vertical panel decorated with acanthus spray: fluted stalk rises to lt. from acanthus leaf at bottom, crossband from which leaf spreads out; from it 2 spiralling tendrils, no bud.; above, a fillet and quarter round, sloping upper surface W00.075 with setting line scratched in at 00.038 m. from front face. To rt. of spray lt. side of lionhead spout, surface completely broken away. At lt. joint anathyrosis on projecting flange 00.082 m. long.
Decoration:   Soffit: traces of reserved astragalos border W00.06, red band W00.026; fascia: parts of black maeander on light ground. Panel background black, tendril reserved, with red-purple on edges of acanthus leaves, crossband; fillet red-purple, ovolo painted with egg-dart: reserved on red background, with eggs outlined in black.
Material:   Coarse buff clay
Condition:   Complete profile. Single frgt., preserving soffit to top, left joint, left side of lionhead spout; fascia largely chipped away. Top surface partly broken.
